Kalwij Water Dynamics (KWD) is owned and operated by Ineke Kalwij. Ineke is a hydrogeologist and engineer (P.Eng), registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. Ineke has degrees in groundwater engineering (Ph.D., USA) and irrigation engineering & water management (M.Sc., The Netherlands). Furthermore, she has a graduate certificate in natural resource & environmental policy (USA) and the UBC Certificate in project management from the University of British Columbia.  

KWD offers more than 20 years of experience in the water sector through consulting, science (academia), and applied research (research organization). We provide consulting services in hydrogeology, groundwater engineering, and water management. We also offer project management services

KWD provides consulting services to a wide-range of clients including community water systems, local governments, land developers, and 
residential & commercial well owners

Since 2010, KWD provides hydrogeologcial services to Clearbrook Waterworks District (CWD) which supply and distribute over 1 million mwater annually to residents and businesses in the Clearbrook area of Abbotsford. We are the prime consultant for their Well Replacement Program: the replacement of 3 large-capacity commercial wells (2011, 2013 & 2014), with the 4th one in progress (2017). We are also assisting CWD with the implementation of groundwater monitoring and well performance assessment & rehabilitation programs. 

KWD collaborates with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Utah State University) on groundwater optimization software development and application (sustained yield, conjunctive management, dewatering system design, and pump-and-treat system design).
